The image has already been published in an anonymous painted version as black guy in dunes. Thanks to Joe for approving this one as well.
The image is a combination of dunes published in ‘Vacation on miniature continent‘, photo of Joe published in selection of his pics, and the sky is from one of midsummer night photos from 2006.

The initial idea was to create some composition as source for the digital painting, I just thought it might look nice. As such scene never happened, I can say he was never there to do anything :)
anyway..great attempt.. I hope next composition will be more successful
