Whether fully dressed or a bit less, the photo shoots are usually smoother and more relaxed with some bottled help on the side. This time, however, it was not at all the model who needed some help to steady hands and build up courage – considering the lack of experience with (photographing) girls, it was I who used up most of the help.
Aiki was an amazing and flexible model and let me mold her to whatever position I could think of. I think I should have given her a camera too to take photos of me demonstrating the desired poses :) But again, I think we did well together and am so excited she gave me opportunity to do something new for me and for giving permission to publish some of the photos.
I did something big this week (no, not what You see here), something I have been working on and stressing over for few of the last years. It is early to cheer over it yet, hopefully some great news in about three months. For now, to pat myself for the accomplishment and quietly celebrate the big step, I got myself a new lens just couple hours before this photo shoot – Tamron SP AF 17-50mm F/2,8 XR Di II LD Aspherical [IF].
